This model was officially debuted last fall in Munich. This new generation BMW is expected to come with a longer wheelbase than the current BMW model. It is also expected to come with lighter than its predecessor and will offer five models instead of the traditional four. In addition to the sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible, the new planning of BMW is to add a 3 Series two-door hatchback Gran Turismo and it will join the lineup a year later. This new 2013 BMW 3 Series model is expected to be powered by smaller turbocharged four-cylinder engines in place of the current six-cylinder power plants.
When describing about the exterior of this BMW, the front end is dominated by the four LED rings around the headlights, which will form the basis of the BMW face going forward, and the lower air intakes will become more angular. Finally it can be said that this 3-series will once again be the most compact BMW with a proper, rear-wheel drive setup.
